Winter Talk about snowflakes and the designs they make. Share making snowflakes on a winter day. Discuss present giving, It is better to give than receive. Make homemade picture framse for family. Spring Plant flowers for mothers day, also learn about vegetables and fruits. Summer look at flowers and vegetables and thin out, as needed. Plan your summer to include fun activities, like going to the zoo and botanic gardens. Try and study an hour a day, read for pleasure and for interest. It is important to set aside time to do simple projects instead of watching TV, so I'm putting some of my ideas, drawings and favorite things on this site. |

Students Can Make Turkey Pictures We made this turkey in school last Thanksgiving. We fingerpainted the turkey's body with chocolate pudding. Then we use real paint for the feathers. Neat! Another idea, with the little ones in mind, is to make hand patterns out of construction paper (using different colors), then putting them together to create a turkey with multicolored feathers. A great conversation starter! Link to Other Pictures |
